Kneskålen ut av ledd (patellaluksasjon): Symptomer
Tilstanden kan oppstå akutt eller være tilbakevendende. I forbindelse med utglidningen av kneskålen, glir den alltid ut til yttersiden av kneet og kneet låser seg. Mange beskriver det som at "kneleddet kom ut av ledd" der kneskålen befinner seg på utsiden av kneet. Det oppstår smerter særlig på innsiden av kneskålen/kneet. Kneet hovner raskt opp på grunn av blodansamling. Ofte glir kneskålen tilbake på plass av seg selv. Det skjer i så fall nesten umiddelbart, uten at vedkommende er helt klar over hva som har skjedd.
