Det tar kort tid å tatovere seg, men husk at det blir et merke for livet.

Å ta nødvendige forholdsregler er derfor viktig.
Tatoveringer er i dag et utbredt fenomen i vesten. Likevel kan det være lurt å tenke seg om to ganger før du pynter på kroppen - en tatovering skal du leve med livet ut.

Det er også viktig å ta riktige forholdsregler, og vedlikeholde tatoveringen i etterkant. Hvis ikke kan det i verste fall oppstå helsemessige komplikasjoner. Det er også mange som senere angrer.
