Munnsvelgkreft (orofarynkskreft): Symptomer
I starten gir denne kreftformen svært få symptomer. Sykdommen kan derfor være vanskelig å oppdage. Det første man gjerne oppdager, er kuler på halsen og svelgbesvær. Etter hvert kan man merke økende smerter og blødninger fra sår på svulsten. Dessverre har sykdommen vart en stund når disse symptomene kommer, og det er risiko for at kreften har rukket å spre seg.
