Malaria: Diagnosen
Tidlig diagnose og behandling av malaria reduserer sykdommen og forhindrer død. Verdens helseorganisasjon anbefaler at alle tilfeller av mistenkt malaria blir bekreftet med parasittbasert diagnostisk testing - enten mikroskopi eller hurtigtest. Resultatet av slike tester kan foreligge i løpet av 30 minutter eller mindre.
